Group Accountant

Full time

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance Team.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Group Accountant will play a key role in supporting the finance management of the Pauley Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a detailed-orientated finance professional.

Predominately based at the school's premises, the ideal candidate will have experience of Sage 50 Accounts and will be confident to maintain accurate financial records across the group. Duties will include preparation of management accounts and year end reports. Also responsible for maintaining cashbooks, assisting with the preparation of financial returns for regulatory bodies and supporting audit preparations.

Experience of working in a financial role, preferably within an educational setting, would be preferable. An extensive knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts and Microsoft Excel is essential. AAT qualified or equivalent finance/accounting qualification would be advantageous.

You will require minimal supervision and be capable of working both independently and as part of a team. You will possess good communication skills, both oral and written, and have an empathy towards children.
