Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various groundwork tasks, contributing to the successful completion of construction projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards. As a Groundworker, you will play an essential role in ensuring that all groundwork is carried out efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Carry out excavation and ground preparation tasks as directed by site supervisors. Assist in the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other groundworks. Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Report any issues or hazards to supervisors promptly. Support other construction activities as required.

Requirements

Previous experience in groundwork or construction is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to construction sites is preferred. A valid driving licence is beneficial but not mandatory. Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training as required.
