Grounds Person
to join our dedicated team at
Hoar Cross Hall
, a luxury resort and spa set in the stunning Staffordshire countryside.
As a Grounds Person, you'll work closely with our Head Grounds Person to help maintain our immaculate grounds, gardens and outdoor areas, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and serene for our guests to enjoy year-round.

Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out general grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and watering.
Keeping gardens, lawns, paths, and other outdoor areas looking their best.
Assisting with landscaping projects such as planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
Operating and caring for groundskeeping equipment and tools.
Monitoring plant and lawn health, and addressing issues like pests or diseases.
Maintaining tidiness across all outdoor areas, including litter removal.
Ensuring health and safety standards are followed at all times..
Supporting the team with materials, tools, and day-to-day gardening needs.
Working flexible hours when required to minimize disruption to our guests.
About You:
A genuine love for working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Experience in groundskeeping, gardening, or horticulture (preferred but not essential).
A good level of physical fitness and stamina.
Familiarity with groundskeeping tools and machinery.
A team player with a can-do attitude.
Flexibility to work occasional early mornings, weekends, or unusual shifts.
Additional Information:
Full-time role: 40 hours per week.
Location: Based at Hoar Cross Hall (DE13 8QS)
