Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of our grounds, ensuring that all outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and well-kept. This role requires a combination of physical stamina, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for landscape maintenance.

Duties

Operate power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. Perform groundskeeping duties including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns Carry out regular inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair. Maintain cleanliness of all tools and equipment used in landscaping activities. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Experience

Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscape maintenance is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools safely. Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment is advantageous. A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical fitness to perform manual labour tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
