Job Description
Bottom Groundworks & Plant Ltd Hire supplies groundworks and construction services in and around central Scotland. Due to rapid and continuous growth, we are now looking to recruit experienced groundworks squads. This role offers fantastic rates and an excellent benefits package.
The main duties of the role are as follows:
Rigorously following all health and safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all team members and site visitors. Setting up construction sites by erecting barriers, safety signs, welfare units, and other required facilities. This includes maintaining the site in an organised and safe condition throughout the project duration. Reading and understanding technical drawings, plans, and specifications, and implementing the work as instructed. Safely operating plant machinery, such as excavators and dumpers, and other relevant machines. Managing and organising materials on-site, including the unloading and distribution of construction materials as required. Providing excavation and groundwork support to engineers, surveyors, and other construction professionals to achieve project goals. Laying pavements, kerbs, and driveways with high-quality workmanship. Removing, installing, and maintaining drainage and pipework systems. Digging trenches for foundations and utilities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Concreting works including foundations, slabs, and rebar.
Requirements:
CSCS card. NPORS. 5 years of groundwork experience. Squads of 3-4 workers.
Job Type:
Permanent, Full-time.
Hourly Rate:
Depending on Experience up to 18 per hour.

Monday to Friday Overtime
