At Pepe's Piri Piri, we're looking for a passionate and dedicated Grill Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The Grill Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled dishes, ensuring the highest quality and consistency for our customers. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and grill a variety of meats, poultry, and vegetables according to menu specifications and perfection. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients as required. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked to perfection. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area including regular cleaning of equipment and utensils. Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service. Monitor stock levels and report any shortages to the manager.

Requirements

:

Proven experience as a Grill Chef or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen. Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and equipment. Ability to work under pressure and in a high-heat environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards. Food safety certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.25-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
