Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Greenkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of our grounds, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and inviting. This role would benefit from a strong understanding of landscape maintenance, gardening techniques, and the ability to operate various tools and machinery, but training will be given. A passion for the outdoors and a commitment to excellence in groundskeeping are essential.

Responsibilities

Maintain the overall appearance of landscaped areas, including golf greens, flower beds, and shrubbery. Perform regular garden maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks. Dig trenches for planting or drainage purposes as required. Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition through regular checks and repairs.

Skills

Strong knowledge of green maintenance techniques and principles. Experience in landscape maintenance with a focus on aesthetic appeal. Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely. Physical stamina to perform manual labour, including digging and lifting. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
