ABOUT US
We're Cegos, an international leader in Learning & Development with a vision to fulfil the innate human need to learn. Our expertise in learning and organisational change makes it easy for clients such as Airbus, BBC, Red Bull, and Samsung to trust our world-class learning design and delivery. Our award-winning team works collaboratively alongside our clients to turn skills into performance and spark transformation in teams, leaders, individuals and organisations. We're normal people, brilliant at what we do... and humble (ish).
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for an outstanding graphic and digital designer who will integrate seamlessly into our
talented and highly collaborative team
of graphic designers, illustrators, animators, videographers, developers, and content creators. In this role, you'll create beautiful materials, both digital and print, for some of the world's most famous brands, and
produce stunning visual learning aids
to be seen by 10s of 1000s of people. Even better, you'll benefit from
as much feedback and support as we can offer
to push your creative limits and produce your best-ever work. Naturally, that'll make our team and our clients really happy.
The role would be ideal for a designer with a minimum of two years' experience
in a studio or agency
. We're looking for someone who can truly
take ownership
of their work,
engage with internal and external clients
with ease, and
drive learning-led design
across the team. If that sounds up your street, we'd love to hear from you.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants should ensure that they:
Have excellent working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and PowerPoint.
Have a sharp eye for detail and an in-depth understanding of the little things that make a design piece tick.
Are comfortable designing across a range of formats: everything from corporate posters, magazines, and presentation decks to stickers, magnets, and board games.
Can independently manage design projects, from ideation and research through to producing and presenting final assets.
Have experience working closely with designers and non-designers alike.
Can inject creative flair into their designs whilst also following commercial brand guidelines and meeting the outcomes of a brief.
That's the nuts and bolts of the role. But we're looking for someone with great interpersonal skills to boot. Being easy to work with is a must here. So, applicants should ensure that they:
Have outstanding communication skills and can confidently and professionally articulate what they can do to colleagues and clients alike.
Are enthusiastic collaborators and keen to work alongside other designers, animators, videographers, and producers.
Are extremely organised and proactive self-managers.
Get excited about solving problems, always thinking about the end user.
Can manage their time effectively, meeting deadlines and providing reliable time estimations.
Conduct themselves in a professional manner, thinking strategically about the tasks they are leading through to completion.
Are relentlessly helpful, willing to give things a go and build connections with those around them.
Are driven to improve themselves, their practice, and the team around them in everything they do.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high-quality outputs.
DESIREABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
It would be beneficial if they:
Have experience with designing for learning, whether through eLearning, workbooks, or infographics -- or something else!
Are familiar with Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro.
Are familiar with Articulate RISE, Storyline, Genially, or Adobe Captivate.
Are confident editing or even writing engaging copy, with an eye for spelling and grammar.
Can assist with marketing, including social media strategy and channel-based design.
