This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity (maternity cover) for an experienced graphic designer to work on a variety of in-house projects across the business. This includes print and digital media. The start date for this role is February 2024. Due to our significant growth plans, it is possible there will be an opportunity for a full-time role with the business at the end of the contract period. Based in our Manchester city centre office (Spinningfields), you\xe2\x80\x99ll work closely with our Group Marketing Director, Copywriter, and internal teams. This is an important role due to our rapid growth and needs a creative and well-organised individual to develop a range of media across the brand. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working on multiple projects, creating consistent, visually pleasing documents and designs. You\xe2\x80\x99ll work with different teams to help bring briefs to life. The role will be predominantly print-focused, and the individual will be responsible for designing and producing long-form memorandums, brochures, leaflets, decks, social content, emails and more. Digital communications are also regularly used in the business, so experience in web design and a basic understanding of Wordpress is required. Who are we looking for? \xc2\xb7 An ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple department\'s priorities is essential, whilst also understanding how aesthetics will need to work for multiple stakeholder audiences. \xc2\xb7 Experience in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Powerpoint is essential. \xc2\xb7 A strong understanding of typography, composition and experience in creating digital content is also necessary. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communicator who can bring briefs to life when working across different teams. \xc2\xb7 A keen eye for style and consistency will be key, with an ability to represent and convey core brand messages in a visually appealing way that stands out in the industry. \xc2\xb7 Experience developing long-form print content (80-100 pages). \xc2\xb7 A passion for design and want to stay up to date with the latest design trends to ensure we are using best practice and constantly improving our design output \xc2\xb7 An ability to create attractive infographic visualisations and create \'stories\' through data. \xc2\xb7 The candidate must be confident liaising with printers and sending work to print. \xc2\xb7 Experience in web design and a basic understanding of Wordpress is required.
