This post is term time only, working 35 weeks per year. Working weeks will be full time, 35 hours. The post is fixed term until June 2024. Salary stated above is the pro-rata amount, full time salary would be \xc2\xa327,951 per annum (Incl. LWA)
Westminster School of Arts is recruiting for a Graduate Intern for the 3D workshop, based at Harrow Campus. The post holder will be working alongside the technical team within various areas of the 3D workshop to support both students and staff across Westminster School of Arts.
The 3D workshops at Harrow consist of five main areas. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in woodwork, metalwork, moulding and casting, ceramics and computer aided making (laser cutting/3D printing/CNC machining).
We are looking for an organised individual with strong communication skills and some prior experience of being involved in a workshop environment. You will need an understanding of the safe working practices and an awareness of the potential risks involved in the workshop. You will be required to carry out basic maintenance of workshop equipment.
The post holder will be working closely with students from various disciplines to provide technical support and assist with individual projects. The successful candidate must remain adaptable and approachable. Throughout the academic year they will assist in the planning, construction and hanging of various exhibitions.
