We are looking for a Graduate Sustainability & Energy Analyst to work within our technical consulting department. Our sustainability solutions address the multifaceted environmental, economic, and social challenges facing business today. Our projects enhance sustainable development opportunities, heighten operational efficiencies and reduce environmental impact to future proof your business in the evolving global economy. A flexible but targeted approach to energy and sustainability consulting enables our clients to navigate their way to a more cost-effective, efficient and sustainable future.

Role start date: 01/07/2025



Responsibilities:



Delivery of mandatory (SECR, TCFD, ESOS) and voluntary (SBTi, CDP, PAS2060) sustainability compliance's and frameworks. Reporting and presenting of energy and carbon analyses to corporate clients. Continuous research on sustainability best practices, frameworks, and industry standards. Support with the development of internal sustainability policies and procedures. Work closely with our operations and administrative function. Support the development of our sustainability service. Process energy supplier invoices monthly for all clients. Send summary spreadsheets of validated invoices to decarbonisation team for review. Obtain HHD for respective ESOS clients and format to produce yearly report. Work with the decarbonisation team in developing site specific reports. Attend weekly team meetings. On-boarding new clients to online platform. Regular audit of database quality.

Experience and Qualifications:



Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, environmental science, mathematics or a related field. Technical knowledge of sustainability reporting and frameworks is preferable. Excellent report writing, presentation and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as this role requires complex data handling and calculation. Strong mathematical and MS Excel skills. Ability to deliver projects around bespoke client requirements. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently on assigned tasks. Passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive impact.
