As a business we work with investors, developers and occupiers in both the public and private sector. A core service LSH provides is in the area of Building Consultancy; with our team of experts being involved in the full real estate lifecycle, from formulating initial construction appraisals through to redeveloping obsolete properties.

We currently have a full and diverse workload with Project Management works on a high quality office fit-out with a value of over \xc2\xa31m, as well as works on Listed Buildings and Industrial Estates.

Our Building Consultancy team are currently delivering a variety of project management and contract administration instructions across numerous sectors, with project values ranging from minor works up to complex multi-million pound reconfiguration and refurbishment schemes. In addition to the project works we are also providing project monitoring services across residential schemes, dilapidations on industrial, office and industrial properties and party wall instructions on large scale redevelopments.

Working in the Building Consultancy team at Lambert Smith Hampton is diverse and rewarding, with your work having a direct impact on your client\'s business. We have a national service line from where you can draw upon a wealth of experience and knowledge. An example of the services we provide includes:

• Refurbishment and fit-out project management - overseeing the entire project from programme management and procurement to contract administration, health & safety, and employer\'s agent services.
• Real estate due diligence - reviewing commercial considerations of any property acquisition covering technological, legislative, health & safety, environmental and legal liabilities
• Building surveying and reporting - assessing property risk, understanding technical issues and formulating strategic plans to manage assets
• Dilapidations - an area where LSH are market leaders and have a track record of reducing tenant\'s liabilities
• Move management - developing and implementing move plans that maximises the benefits to business whilst minimising disruptions and distractions

If successful the position will see you working within our growing Building Consultancy team, alongside the Head of Building Consultancy in Manchester.

The opportunity is for a self-motivated individual with personality and drive, you will need to be client facing from day one and able to seek out and develop close professional relationships. The successful candidate will benefit from becoming part of an engaged team and wider multidisciplinary office.

This opportunity exists for a:-

• A chartered Building Surveyor, looking to work with one of the country\'s leading commercial property consultancies
• A graduate Building Surveyor currently undertaking APC work or with previous work experience but looking towards chartered status
