Location - London Office - requirement to be at the office 4 days a week
The Role:
To work closely with the Area Director and assist other regional team members to develop, grow and advance the company's valuation offering in a specified regional area(s) whilst meeting your individual financial target. The role involves inspecting properties, gathering market data, and supporting the preparation of valuation reports in line with RICS guidelines. Under supervision, the graduate will gain hands-on experience in both residential and commercial property sectors.
The role also supports professional development towards RICS accreditation.
Key Accountabilities:
1. With supervision meet and exceed personal financial targets set
2. With supervision provide an important contribution to regional team income
3. Ability to follow processes and instructions accurately
4. Support more senior team members on large or complex instructions
5. With supervision perform and execute valuations efficiently to consistent, exacting, high, standards within deadlines
6. With supervision develop skills to provide excellent quality advice and maintain high professional standards at all times
7. Organise time efficiently to facilitate the delivery of the role requirements
8. To attend marketing/networking events with supervision
9. To attend training courses and undertake the requirements to become MRICS qualified
Experience:
A relevant degree - ideally in Real Estate, Property or a related discipline
Working towards MRICS Qualification and demonstrating strong valuation and construction knowledge/ skills
Proactive, approachable with experience in the valuation field
Ability to manage multiple projects
Candidate must be proactive, highly organised and able to meet strict deadlines with attention to detail
Articulate, with excellent communication skills and strong collaborative/ team work ethic
High quality report writing skills with experience in reviewing reports prepared by other valuers
Ambitious, flexible and responsive to change and improvement
Critical thinker with strong levels of insight and intellectual curiosity.
