As a Graduate IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical user support and assisting with the day-to-day support and operation our internal IT infrastructure and associated systems. You will provide support on a wide range of platforms including Windows, Linux, VMWare, and on supporting products like Office365, Sharepoint, SQL and BI tools.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a placement year in an IT role, looking to kickstart their career and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Working as a Graduate IT Support Technician you will:
Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Install, configure and maintaining computer systems and networks.
Assist with the setup and deployment of new equipment.
Provide training and guidance to users on IT best practices.
Document and track support requests and resolutions.
Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure efficient and effective support.
Skills for Success
Joining us as a Graduate
IT Support Analyst, the minimum criteria you'll need is:
Level 5 qualification (or above) in a relevant IT related qualification (or working towards completion by June 2025).
A minimum of 9 months in an IT University placement or similar relevant work experience.
Experience of using Microsoft Operating Systems and associated Microsoft software technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Full UK Driving Licence & access to a vehicle.

This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. Upon completion of training, the successful candidate will be required to work On-Call on a Rota basis.
