Graduate Science Teaching Assistant What Youll Be Doing:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to students, helping them understand complex scientific concepts in subjects like biology, chemistry, and physics
• Assisting with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring that all students are actively engaged in the curriculum
• Supporting students during practical science experiments, ensuring they follow safety protocols and helping with hands-on learning
• Assisting students with study skills, revision techniques, and exam preparation to boost academic performance
• Encouraging students to develop critical thinking skills and a passion for scientific inquiry
• Supporting classroom management, helping create an engaging and focused learning environment
• Collaborating closely with the science department and other teaching staff to meet the needs of all students, including those with additional learning needs

Graduate Science Teaching Assistant What Were Looking For:

• A 2:1 degree or higher in a science-related subject (biology, chemistry, physics, or similar)
• A genuine passion for science and a desire to inspire students to succeed
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively
• Previous experience in tutoring or educational support is desirable but not essential
