With 9 branches covering a geographical area that's high in demand, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly articulate and motivated Graduate to join our team as a Graduate Mortgage Broker.
Our Mortgage experience spans over 20 years in Residential, Buy to Let, Commercial Mortgages etc. in addition to Life Cover, Critical Illness, Income Protection, Contents & Buildings Cover.

Previous experience in a Customer Service/Customer facing role is essential.
Brief duties of the role:
Your duties will include (not limited to):
Take a proactive approach in dealing with all enquiries in a professional, prompt, and efficient manner. This includes via telephone, email, or face-to-face.
You must be pro-active in achieving leads and new business where this is not referred by the agency. This includes maximising client referrals and google reviews.
To actively work with Pedder consultants to obtain referrals and write new business.
You must maintain compliance to a high standard. Answer phones in a professional and friendly manner, taking clear messages when needed.
Adhere to compliance rules and maintain a high standard acceptable to the Financial Conduct Authority.
Manage the CRM system to send scheduled correspondence to remortgage customers.
Build relationships with lenders and business development managers (BDMs).
Maintain updated product knowledge via lender websites, BDMs, and sourcing system.
You should progress applications with suitable timescales, managing expectations, and keeping in regular contact for updates.
Communicate with administrator to effectively manage cases, keeping them updated of any changes.

Hours and Location:
This role is an office-based role only. Our Elysian Finance team are based in our Pedder office in West Norwood, South East London (SE27 9AJ). Once signed off (post CeMAP qualification) you may be expected to work in any of our 9 branches. Location details can be found on our website.
For clarity, once signed off you will be allocated specific branches for direct leads and will spend time between those branches, as well as at the West Norwood branch.
A basic salary of 25,000 per annum + commission.
Commission available for hitting targets relating to new business.
Commission available for fee charging.
Referral fees available for use of the recommended Solicitor Panel.
Quarterly bonus available for hitting targets for Protection business referrals.
Guaranteed commission for your first 3 months whilst you undertake your CeMAP qualification/induction
During this initial 3-month period you will be supported through your formal industry CeMAP qualification. Once you have been signed off by FPG (Financial Planning Gorup) as able to give advice upon completion of this qualification, a suitable commission package will be put in place for you, and you will be expected to earning 30,000+ per annum.*
