As a Graduate Manufacturing Operations Excellence at Honeywell, in Horsham, we will support and train you to drive operational excellence and optimise manufacturing operations. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing operations, driving continuous improvement and implementing best practices to optimize processes and reduce waste.
Lead and participate in process improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce waste.
Act as the point of contact for Honeywell Manufacturing Excellence, understanding the process and working with the site team to drive its implementation and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to ensure smooth production processes.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-effective solutions to optimize manufacturing operations.
Develop and maintain accurate documentation related to manufacturing processes, work instructions, standard operating procedures, Value stream maps and factory layout.
Key skills and qualifications:
Recent graduate from a degree in engineering or manufacturing
Some experience in manufacturing operations or process improvement (this can be from the workplace, your degree or an internship)
Good knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement tools (this can be from the workplace, your degree or an internship)
A strong analytical and data-driven mindset
Exposure to Six-Sigma
