Graduate Learning Support Assistant

Graduated from university with an education or psychology related degree over the summer?

Passionate about helping children that require additional support during the school day?

You may have ambitions of a career in education and are looking for the perfect starting point after university?

A devoted primary school located in Liverpool is looking to secure a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to work closely with some of their children starting ASAP\xe2\x80\xa6

  • Graduate Learning Support Assistant
  • Full-time, long-term role starting ASAP \xe2\x80\x93 running for the full academic year
  • Earn up to \xc2\xa3410 per week as a Graduate Learning Support Assistant
  • Fantastic Primary School located ten-minutes north of Liverpool city centre
  • Work 1-to-1 with children with additional needs
  • Perfect experience for aspiring teachers or education psychologists
  • Graduates with an Education or Psychology related degree wanted
  • Previous experience preferred but not essential
  • Interviews and trial days available immediately
As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to promote personalisation of learning and support given to each student. The school have a number of children in their September cohort that are targeted learners and will require the additional support in a 1-to-1 setting. Your goal is to provide them with this support, providing them with an opportunity to experience a positive learning environment.

With the return of children from the summer break, the school have identified a number of children who will require additional support that is currently not accessible for them. The appointment of a new Learning Support Assistant will open doors for these children and allow them to flourish and develop at their own pace with your support and encouragement.

The school are looking to start the right candidate ASAP in order to have enough time to create a positive relationship with the children and become an important part of the support team.
