Position
Your New Role:
The Graduate Finance Assistant will work from our Southampton office and have a keen interest in accounting and finance. Whilst were eager to explore candidates from several degree backgrounds, were seeking someone who is inquisitive, eager to learn and comfortable using your initiative to solving problems. You\xe2\x80\x99ll need to be strong with excel and have an analytical and numerical mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily cash and reconciliations bank receipting
Manage petty cash
Manage multiple finance inbox\xe2\x80\x99s
Updating both sales & purchase ledge for multiple entities
Assist in payment runs
Process credit cards and expenses
Raising invoices
Liaising with internal and external stake holders to resolve queries
Assist with credit control
Create monthly debt reports for stakeholders
Ad hoc queries
Cheque runs to the bank
Assisting our reporting account
Streamline processes and implement automatization when possible
Requirements
Essential Criteria:
A graduate from and background
Keen to explore and develop a career in accountancy and finance.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with suppliers in a polite and effective manner
Microsoft Excel
Outlook
A self-motivated team player who can demonstrate a can-do attitude.
Ability to manage and organise their own workload, particularly in periods of high volume
