Are you an early-career Engineer passionate about geotechnical engineering? Aspiring to become a chartered geologist (CGeol) or chartered civil engineer (CEng)?



The Role



Hands-On Experience:

About You



Educational Background:

Civil Engineering, Geology, Geological Hazards, Geotechnical Engineering, or relevant MSc.

Technical Skills

: Understand UK ground investigation techniques, specifications, and standards.

Leadership:

Comfortable supervising and instructing others to carry out fieldwork tasks efficiently and safely (full H&S training will be provided)

Professional Membership:

Graduate level membership of a relevant body (or eligibility).

Experience

: Demonstrable experience in Earth Sciences or Geotechnical Engineering is advantageous.


Other duties will include:



Monitoring and supervision of fieldwork including ground investigations, landfill engineering, earthworks Collecting soil samples for geotechnical testing Carrying out insitu geotechnical testing Geotechnical data logging Scheduling geotechnical laboratory testing Preparing factual reports Preparing health and safety plans and risk assessments


Please note that, due to site travel requirements, a full driving licence valid in the UK is essential for this role.
