Technically focused role (Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a mechanical engineer with an interest in electrical) with a strong commercial link, working in close partnership with the commercial teams.

This will be highly suited to a graduate Electrical Engineer, Electronic Engineer or similar.

Once up to speed in the role you will effectively be a mini business unit manager - you get to do a bit of everything - work with the sales team, work with marketing, look at the market and strategically assess how to approach it. This is an incredibly diverse and interesting job.

This Graduate Electrical Engineer job will suit:

Any technical knowledge or interest towards Electrical Engineering / Electro-mechanical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.

Interest or experience in a commercial role (strategy / customer meetings / margin / supplier management) - the role is extremely varied and will enable you to enhance your career within an SME business.

Ideally you will have a BEng, MEng, HND, HNC or similar qualification in a related technical / engineering subject

Above all else the right attitude and passionate about doing a good job.You will be given plenty of training and development to be successful.

The Graduate Electrical Engineer Job will involve:

Working with electrical components and technical products (Instrumentation, control systems, sensors, switches), there will be plenty of training but a general technical appreciation will be needed.

You will be managing a product range, this is NOT man management or leading a team.

This will be a hybrid role, 2/3 day split from working in the facility in Leicester and working from home - they have a flexible approach.You will also get the opportunity to visit some customers alongside the sales team and also develop relationships with suppliers.

This job is commutable from Leicester, Lutterworth, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Loughborough, Derby, Nottingham, Coalville, Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray or areas commutable to Leicestershire / East Midlands
