Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and perform monthly closing procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, Sage, Xero, etc.
- Experience with financial management and analysis.
- Ability to mentor and train junior accounting staff.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
