Salary - \xc2\xa324,000 - \xc2\xa326,000
7.30AM - 4.30PM (7.30AM - 12.30PM Friday)
Permanent Position - Overtime available
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Stores Operative to join an established engineering company based in Knowsley.
This market leading engineering business, operating in a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, automotive and transportation.
Main responsibilities:
- Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
- Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
- Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
- Updating inventory management systems regularly
- Organising and delivering goods from the store to the department that requires it
- Keep Site Head of Quality informed about site operation and problems
- Follow company health & safety procedures and disciplines
- Good attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings advantageous
- FLT and First Aid experience advantageous
- Pension - match contribution from 4% - 10%
- Life Assurance - 2 x annual salary rising to 4 x if join Company pension
