WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

As a member of the Global Regulatory Affairs team, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of regulatory strategies for several products and substances, especially for the rodenticides portfolio, by applying entrepreneurial and sustainable development principles.



You will provide regulatory and stewardship strategic guidance to our business units about active substances/products under responsibility, address related issues and coordinate the scientific support. You will design optimized global registration strategies to support the agreed business goals anticipating potential short and long-term issues and trends. You will lead the implementation of registration plans and budget as well as approve and coordinate the execution of related activities by scientific and registration teams involving as appropriate marketing, technical development, formulation and manufacturing units. You will be responsible for registration dossiers: you will contribute to its content, review and ensure the consistency of parts provided by the experts and make the decision for the release. You will coordinate the scientific support using internal or external expertise and collaborate with the country regulatory teams. You will interact and negotiate with representatives from governmental authorities to achieve regulatory objectives and manage the product stewardship/sustainability programs related to active substances/products. You will represent BASF in task forces with other companies and in Industry association working groups.

WHAT YOU OFFER

Beyond having a scientific background (Ph.D. or M.S. in a scientific discipline), you have significant experience in the agrochemical field in Regulatory/Product Safety. Preferably with experience of the crop protection and biocidal products regulations globally. In addition, you have technical and regulatory knowledge of pest control products (rodenticides, insecticides, disinfectants). Also, you have excellent leadership and project management skills. You have the ability to work effectively in global cross-functional teams and with external third parties. Furthermore, you demonstrate professional communication skills, and good ability to negotiate and convince in an international environment either internal or external stakeholders. You also have the ability to represent the company position with third parties, regarding technical and regulatory or policy issue which may impact BASF portfolio. You are a problem solver and possess an entrepreneurial spirit. You are IT literate, and a competent user of all relevant software programs. You possess a fluent written and spoken command of English. You are flexible and keen on European and international business travels.
