Job Description

:

The role leads the global Email / CRM / Customer Journeys Team; setting strategy and creating a culture of innovation and industry-leading best practice to grow advertising revenues, drive traffic referrals and support subscriptions acquisition and retention. It includes:

• Setting strategy for Email newsletters / CRM across Future\'s consumer brands.
• Growing our first party data / email newsletter subscribers - prioritising where there is commercial return.
• Setting performance targets for email newsletter engagement and all the commercial outcomes from email.
• Delivering incremental value through nurturing and cross-marketing to our known audiences.
• Identifying and exploiting commercial opportunities to increase average revenue per customer through cross and up-selling new product propositions (physical and/or digital).
• Working with the technology / product team to ensure the marketing technology stack delivers the desired outcomes and gives competitive advantage.
• Building high-performing teams.
• Creating a team culture of innovation and testing to constantly improve our performance.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve\xe2\x80\xa6

• Expert in email newsletter strategy and proven ability to grow commercial outcomes
• Capable of optimising and reallocating budget spend and/or reducing costs in response to performance
• Able to make the strategic case for marketing spend to be assessed against agreed metrics
• A strong leader who can influence and deliver successful outcomes
• Able to articulate a data strategy that is supportive of the strategic plan for email
• Strong leadership skills, managing a high-performing team using effective delegation and setting a clear vision
