With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for excellence, we are looking to expand our team with a reliable and experienced General Working Foreman.

The Role:

We are seeking a hands-on, proactive General Working Foreman to oversee and drive the progress of our construction projects. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of both residential and commercial sites, ensuring work is carried out safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all site operations, ensuring efficient progress of works on a daily basis Manage site labour and coordinate subcontractors Act as the main point of contact between site and clients, maintaining strong professional relationships Monitor health and safety compliance and enforce company policies on-site Manage deliveries, materials, and site logistics Work closely with project managers to ensure deadlines and quality expectations are met Assist with problem-solving and offer practical solutions on site
Requirements:

Experience as a Working Foreman with a strong ability to carry out general building and carpentry tasks Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors Solid understanding of construction methods, health & safety regulations, and building standards Hands-on, proactive attitude Full UK driving licence Must have own van and tools Relevant qualifications (e.g. SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS) preferred but not essential
