We have an exciting opportunity a General Practitioners to join our Primary Care team at HMP Foston Hall, a female closed prison based in Derby. HMP Foston Hall houses around 300 patients aged between 18-75 years of age. Within this role you will be delivering general practice clinics to support long term conditions and acute needs. Applicants must have a specialist interested in female health, and have competencies in female specific health needs including insertion and removal of LARCs.Hours2 days per week either Monday and Wednesday or Wednesday and FridaySalaryThis position is part time, you'll receive an annual salary up to xc2xa3131,000 per annum FTE- depending on experience.How will we support you?

You will

• Deliver first class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, and therefore as a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group you get the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in areas you wouldnxe2x80x99t usually experience within a practice, or even A&E environment.
• Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patientxe2x80x99s requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management.

• involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities.

• MBChB or MBBS
• Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List

• Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal
• Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
• Evidence of continuing professional development
• Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
• RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications
