Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic a General Practitioner to join our established team and be a part of a Practice that really cares and makes a difference within the community. We are happy to discuss a sessional commitment of between 4 and 6 sessions per week.You will be working within our purpose built surgery within Crowborough, serving c9500 patients. The practice is located within a beautiful rural setting in the High Weald area of East Sussex but with easy links to the south and near-by Tunbridge Wells.Main duties of the jobAt Saxonbury House we offer a culture of learning to all of our clinicians working at the practice, we also welcome newly qualified GP or GPs returning to work. As a training practice we would welcome either an accredited GP trainer or would be happy to support a clinician that would like to gain GP training status.GP sessions are 12 appointments per session (a mix of face-to-face or telephone consultations), with home visit(s) after the morning session if required.We use Emis-web, Docman, and have recently transitioned to a triage-based approach with utilisation of eConsults for appointment booking with GPs/Nurse Prescriber. We are also trialling the use of Heidi Health AI medical transcribe to support documenting consultations within patient notes.About usWe are an established GP Surgery providing Primary Care Services to the Crowborough area in East Sussex. We are a consistently high-QOF achieving practice. We have a patient population of over 9,600 patients with 4 GP Partners and 2 Salaried GPs , 1 GP registrar currently, 1 ANP, 3 Nurses, 3 HCAs, 2 First Contact Physios, a Social Prescriber, 4 Care co-ordinators, in-house Pharmacist and Pharmacist Technician support.
