General Operative
Job Description
Cogent Staffing are recruiting for Production/Machine operatives for the Wakefield area (WF2) on a temp to perm basis. Successful candidates will be offered a permanent role after 12 weeks.
SHIFT/SALARY:
Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00
Friday 08:00-15:00
Starting pay rate \xc2\xa311.07 per hour
Uplift to \xc2\xa312.07 after 12 weeks (including bonus)
Weekly pay
Temporary to permanent role
THE ROLE:
Quality checking products
Packing boxes form the end of the production line
Reporting any machine breakdowns
Completing any necessary paperwork
If you have experience in power press you will be required to set and operate the power presses.
THE CANDIDATE:
Have a good level of English reading and writing
Have basic Maths skills
Have a manufacturing/Engineering/Machine Operating background
Looking for full time work
Open to learning and progressing within the company
It is preferred for candidates to have their own transport or live within the Wakefield area.
After 12 weeks, candidates are entitled to a \xc2\xa340 weekly bonus - full hours must be completed within that week to be entitled and no lateness.
