We at Bouygues are looking for general Operative to carryout maintenance and new installs on streetlights and street furniture for our Kent team in Sittingbourne. This a permanent full time position working 07:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• To carry out instructions daily as laid down in the Task Instruction Sheets and the Companies Operations Manual.
• Operate a MEWP
• To set up site in accordance with Chapter 8 of NRSWA Street Works Code of Practice.
• Carry out work in accordance with the regulations and to the Client specifications.
• To ensure that all materials and components are transported to and from site in a safe and secure manner without damage.
• To ensure that the full co-operation and best Customer Relations are maintained at all times, specifically on site.
• To be flexible in their working hours and location of works and to ensure all work is completed in accordance with specification.
• To fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company\'s Health & Safety Policy and Health &
• Safety Management Plans
• To comply with the Company\'s Policies, Management Plans and Procedures
• To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the
• Department / Service. Significant permanent changes in duties will require agreed revisions to be made to this

Skills required for this role:

• Good communication skills
• Hard working and committed to role.
• Ability to work on own initiative whilst maintaining a good quality output.
• Be able to identify risks on site and report back to line management.
• Previous experience of using PDA/Tablet PC systems
• Full driving Licence (HGV class 2)
• IPAF to operate van mounts
• Previous experience of working within a street lighting role
