General Operative
Job Description
My Client is Kitchen, Fire Place and wooden furniture manufacturer. They manufacture and distribute a variety of products to clients across the UK.
They require a General Operatives to work from their manufacturing site based at Glossop.
Duties will include assembly of cabinets using bench tools. There will also be associated picking and packing duties as instructed by the manager.
The candidates will ideally have previous assembly experience and also will have knowledge of basic hand tools. Picking and packing experience would also be advantageous.
Minimum \xc2\xa310.420 per hour
The hours of work are Monday - Thursday 08.00 - 16.30 and Friday 08.00 - 14.15. There is unpaid 30 minutes lunch break Monday - Thursday. There is 15 minutes unpaid break on Friday.
The working week is set at 38 hours per week. Overtime will be paid at time 1/3 after 38 hours and time +1/3 for the first 4 hours on Saturday. Time +1/2 will be paid after 4 hours on Saturday and on Sunday
