Harley's American Bar and Diner are seeking to employ a live-in Manager/ess for our new restaurant opening in Exmouth at the end of May. Following the launch of our first site in Paignton almost two years ago, we are looking to re-create the vibe and experience we've produced. Experience in hospitality management is required but all other training will be given. This position comes with a two bedroom flat with some bills included and will be rent-free. We would consider a couple without both individuals working for us.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new venture. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of food preparation and production.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless experience for customers Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient operation. Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, fostering a positive work environment. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring resolutions are achieved promptly. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Exceptional organisational abilities with attention to detail in all aspects of operations. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience.
