Highland Grain is a long standing, successful and forward-thinking farmer co-operative based at Tore near Inverness. We specialise in the growing, storage and marketing of 40,000 tonnes of premium malting barley on behalf of our 85 farmer members.
Highland Grain is proud to have an excellent working relationship with many of the premier global maltsters and whisky brands, alongside other more niche distillers. Our relationships have been built up over many years based on our company ethos of integrity, quality, and innovation, backed by strong governance and an understanding of our customers\' requirements.
The post of General Manager offers an excellent opportunity for an individual to join and lead a committed and dedicated team in driving the business forward.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day running of the business and the implementation of the business strategy, reporting directly to the board of Directors. Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and team leadership as well as competence across a wide range of business disciplines, acquired through both education and experience.
