Job Summary:
The General Manager is a key role. You will inspire, drive and coach the team to the next level. You will lead Osip's day-to-day and overall operational activities and assume complete responsibility for the smooth-running operation of the business and hospitality, as necessary. The General Manager works to ensure that all activities are consistent with and supportive of the operations of the business plan.
The General Manager needs to be proactive, motivated and someone who looks for solutions, whilst providing warm, courteous hospitality to guests whilst leading the team graciously. You need to show the confidence and necessary experience to create a place of warmth, hospitality and deliver a great experience for both the team and guest.
Duties:
To provide gracious, welcoming and warm hospitality. Above all else.
To manage and support your team, show trust and responsibility
To ensure personal standards of knowledge and understanding of the role is highest at all times
To ensure the business is fully stocked, clean, always organised and meeting all health and standards
To ensure that warm, knowledgeable and approachable hospitality is delivered consistently in line with company ethos
To establish and maintain excellent guest and local patron relations
To ensure all guest feedback is dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner in order to promote and grow the good reputation
To monitor team development to promote a climate of enthusiasm and encouragement
Arrange monthly and weekly training sessions with planned and orchestrate sessions
To be accountable to yourself and the team
No job is outside of your role, big or small, support your teammates
Ensure you approach your work in a positive, can-do way
Requirements:
- Excellent leadership and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management skills to handle peak periods effectively
- Experience as a General Manager in a similar calibre of restaurant
