General Maintenance
Job Description
Busy company on the outskirts of Colchester looking for an experienced general maintenance person to keep their manufacturing plant running smoothly.
You will be expected to follow manufacturers preventative maintenance schedules on a variety of industrial machines/equipment, fix issues when they arise and assist the production team keeping any down-time to a minimum. You will also be called upon to help maintain the site, which may involve (but not be limited to) work on electrical fittings, compressed air supply, plumbing work and some general building upkeep.
In order to be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and problem solving manufacturing equipment and will be a good general all-rounder when it comes to keeping plant/equipment running and maintaining a busy factory.
Candidates for this role must be able to demonstrate the following;
Experienced in problem solving in machines and equipment
Positive, flexible attitude to work
Keen eye for accuracy and detail
Relevant experience in a similar role
Useful experience and skills may include working at height, forklift truck driving, and relevant electrical or other certificates
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour

Monday to Friday

Colchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
