Nottage Joinery Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

General Ledger Accountant

About the Role:

As a General Ledger Accountant, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations, from processing payroll and managing accounts to preparing key financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Help manage accounts payable and receivable Process payroll and reconcile bank statements Prepare accurate financial statements and reports, including profit & loss accounts and balance sheets Maintain detailed and up-to-date financial records Assist with VAT returns and statutory filings

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a similar role (General Ledger Accountant or equivalent) Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in accounting software (Training will be provided for our internal systems) Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Confident communicator and effective team player Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines AAT qualification or equivalent experience preferred

Pay: 13.50-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 37.5 per week
