Overview

We are seeking a skilled labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and possess a diverse range of skills to effectively contribute to various building projects. This role requires proficiency in both manual and power tools, alongside a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards.

Duties

Utilise hand tools and power tools to perform various construction tasks, including but not limited to carpentry, roofing, and masonry. Install and repair structures, including walls, roofs, and flooring, while ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. Fabricate components as necessary for specific projects, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience as a labourer or in a similar role within the construction industry is essential. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively. Experience with roofing, bricklaying, plumbing, electrical work, framing, and Building control in the London area is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

We also pay a bonus of 100 if the Jobs are completed within three working days of the original scheduled finish date.
