We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team. Duties

Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitising work surfaces. Support chefs in cooking and plating dishes to ensure timely service. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies when necessary. Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for cooking and learning is key. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations will be advantageous. Basic knowledge of meal preparation techniques and catering services is desirable. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a willingness to help others in a team-oriented setting.

Pay: 12.00-13.00 per hour
