General Farm Worker (bos)
Job Description
Based at our poultry farm in Stoke-on-Trent, an opportunity has arisen for a general farm worker. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate competent poultry husbandry skills, such as ensuring feed is available at all times, checking watering systems, weighing birds, collecting of eggs, monitoring bird welfare/behaviour, bio-security protocols and general farm maintenance. Full training will be provided, although previous poultry or farming experience is desirable. We offer a competitive rate of pay and excellent terms of employment. The working pattern for this role is: 24 hours over 3 days (Mon-Fri) + 5 hrs Sat & Sun Alternative weekends Must have access to own transport due to location of farm and start times. No accommodation provided.
