JOB VACANCYINTERNAL & EXTERNALGeneral Catering AssistantPermanent: Term Time (42 weeks)Part Time: 14 hours per week (Mondays 7 hours and Fridays 7 hours)Salary: Grade 1 Bar - xc2xa323,912 - xc2xa3 24,676 (starting salary will commence at xc2xa323,912)Based within the College's Faculty of Hospitality & Leisure, the successful candidate will work within a larger team and assist the Senior Catering Assistant in the provision of a quality support service for college staff, students and visitors within all kitchens, bakeries, restaurants, linen and ancillary areas. Your main role will be to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, within all areas relevant to the department.To apply for this position, you must have an elementary food hygiene certificate. You will ensure that a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained at all times, in accordance with current legislation and College protocols and procedures.You will have good interpersonal skills, a flexible approach to your duties with the ability to work well as part of a team.Additionally, you will be expected to comply with all health and safety legislation and safe systems of work, at all times.
