Chesworth Construction Ltd is a fast-growing, family-run construction company based in Mid-Wales & Shropshire. Founded in 2021 and rapidly expanding, we're looking to expand our team with a skilled and reliable

General Builder/Skilled Trade

with a background in

carpentry, plastering, or bricklaying

.

The Role:

Depending upon your skill set and experience, your day-to-day tasks may include;

Bricklaying & Blockwork Internal & External Plastering/Rendering Groundworks & External Works 1st & 2nd Fix Carpentry Setting out and interpreting construction drawings/specifications Operating Plant & Machinery Manual labour & handling of materials Working alongside and assisting other trades Organising small teams and sub-contractors (if experienced) Demolition and Structural alterations Site setup & demobilsation
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable and adaptable, and can work well both independently and as part of a team.

A keen eye for detail, quality workmanship, and finishing are essential.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction

Proficiency in

carpentry, plastering, or bricklaying

(ideally with demonstrable examples/references) Able to interpret and follow working construction drawings/specifications Own tools and transport Hold a valid CSCS card (or be willing to obtain one) Willing to travel between current sites

Salary to be negotiated and dependent on experience
