Lynas General Assistants will assist with the day-to-day running of the Food Outlet to ensure that sales and profit targets are met through effective stock control, sales promotion and cost control. They will work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service and operational standards.
Role Responsibilities:
Providing excellent customer service
Ensuring customer satisfaction is at the heart of all actions in the store
Interacting with customers in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
Maintaining store cleanliness and hygiene standards
Maintaining store merchandising standards.
Taking part in all stock takes.
Goods intake, putting away orders.
Till duties and cash handling.
Stock replenishment and inventory taking.
Carry out and record date and temperature checks on stock.
Ensuring all waste is managed
General housekeeping and maintaining excellent store presentation.
Van deliveries
Skills and Experience Required:
Previous experience in a food retail role
Full clean driving licence essential
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work well in a team and use own initiative.
To have a good work ethic
To be a good timekeeper
To be professional
Willingness to operate in various temperature zones.
Must be fully flexible to work shifts including Saturdays.
Must be able to adhere to Health & Safety procedures and promote the Health & Safety culture at the Food Outlet
