Job Summary

Abacus Flame Ltd are a plumbing and heating company based in Eastbourne and are looking for an experienced gas engineer that will be able carry out boiler installations and other required gas works in the East Sussex area.

Roles and Responsibilities

Carrying out boiler and other gas installations. To comply with Health and Safety standards. To ensure all work undertaken is carried out in accordance with supervisory instruction and site protocols.
This role requires good communication skills and administrative skills that are essential in order to liaise with customers, produce job reports and inform the office with job updates and further works required.

Working hours:

8am - 5pm weekdays Some flexibility may be required if evening and/or weekend work is needed. You will be required to be on call on a weekly rota basis for evenings and weekends.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

A

minimum

of 3 years post-qualification experience in the plumbing and heating industry Experience with boiler installations and other gas installations. CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CRK1 and HTR1 qualifications. LPG qualifications are also preferred, but not essential. Good customer care skills. Good communication, written and verbally. Hold a full UK driving licence. Able to work to a high standard without supervision. A enhanced DBS is a condition of employment. You will be expected to be punctual. Correct uniform must be worn at all times. You will be required to conduct yourself in an orderly manner, being polite and courteous at all times.
