HJT Projects Limited have a great opportunity for highly skilled and knowledgeable Gas Engineers to join our fast growing company. The areas covered are predominantly Lancashire, Cumbria, Manchester and West Yorkshire.
HJT Projects Limited are specialists in Commercial & Domestic Gas, LPG and Oil. As a business we are experienced in reactive, planned and project works for the Commercial and Industrial sector.
This role is field based with regular attendance required at the Head Office located between Blackburn and Preston. It will include installation of new heating/hot water systems, reactive maintenance and planned maintenance/testing. Ideally applicants will have knowledge of both commercial and domestic systems. Working across sites including pubs, restaurants, hotels & industrial units.
If you are only domestically qualified and interested in gaining commercial training and qualifications, HJT Projects will support with training and development.

Overview of package:
Base salary of 35k - 40k (subject to experience)
Full time permanent contract
Overtime in addition to Base Salary
On Call Rota - Call Out Rate in addition to Base Salary

What we need from you
Experience of installing, servicing, fault diagnosis and repairs on different boilers and central heating systems across a variety of manufacturers.
Electrical knowledge essential, including wiring and fault finding on combination systems and boilers.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to gas systems.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer service skills - able to explain job requirements and outcomes to customers and to handle any queries professionally.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
