Experienced Gardener/Groundsman Wanted

Roman Camp Hotel, Callander, a luxury country house hotel dating back to 1625

Job Type:

Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

We are seeking a skilled and passionate

Gardener

for our country hotel, set in a stunning 20-acre estate. This is an opportunity to work in a beautiful and varied environment, maintaining and enhancing our historic gardens and parkland.

About the Gardens & Estate:

5 acres

of formal gardens, including a

Walled Garden

with herbaceous borders, shrubs, a herb garden, fruit trees, a vegetable plot, and manicured lawns.

15 acres

of parkland with mature trees, riverside scenery, paddocks with ponies, pathways, car parks, and driveways.

Key Responsibilities:

Hands-on care, development, and maintenance of all gardens and parkland. Grass cutting, weeding, pruning, hedge & tree trimming, planting, and propagation. General maintenance of paths, outdoor furnishings, and equipment. Seasonal assistance provided during peak periods (summer & autumn). Any additional tasks required to maintain the grounds of the

What We're Looking For:

Proven professional experience in gardening and horticulture (

essential

). A degree in horticulture (

preferred but not required

). Strong knowledge of garden tools, machinery, and equipment maintenance.
