to join our construction teams on the A9 highways Tomatin to Moy project. This major civils project will run from 2024 to the end of 2026 with a value of 130M and boasts excellent career development opportunities as the project progresses.
In this role successful candidates will get the opportunity to play a key role in the construction of the A9 Tomatin to Moy dual carriageway, undertaking a wide range of specialist maintenance tasks as required along with capital project works.
What you'll be doing
Your accountabilities will be as follows:
To carry out all type of civil and building works with or without direct supervision
Undertake general civil and building activities within capabilities with or without direct supervision.
This will include but not exclusive to:
+ Repairs to structures and surfaces
+ Civil engineering and building tasks of a minor nature
+ Installation of traffic management
+ Boundary fencing
+ Concrete works
+ Drainage works To complete any records as required, including daily worksheets, and maintenance report sheets
Drive vehicles as required
To observe all safety procedures and instructions
Any other duties within the capacity as required by the Foreman
Who we're looking for
Qualifications/ skills/ experience
:
UK Driving Licence
Experience of working within a civil engineering or building field
CSCS and CPCS (desirable)
Personal attributes

Ability to work under pressure
A confident and professional manner
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Team player
A clear and thorough communication style
