Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Furniture Installer/Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a good work ethic, be capable of heavy lifting and have good time keeping skills. This role involves delivering furniture and white goods to homes, across the country (although the majority of our work is based in Nottingham), and providing exceptional service throughout the installation process.

Duties

Safely drive a van to transport furniture to designated locations. Unload and assemble furniture items according to specifications and client preferences. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns during the installation process. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for. Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory and prepare items for delivery. Perform quality checks on installed furniture to ensure it meets company standards. Adhere to all safety regulations while operating vehicles and handling equipment.

Requirements

Be 25 or over due to the fleet insurance policy. A valid driver's licence. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with furniture installation. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Hours of work:

Monday - Friday 07:30am to 15:30pm (must be flexible)

At times, Saturday overtime will be available.
