We are seeking a Fundraising Manager to help us achieve our income goals, which will, in turn, enable the Trust to have an even greater impact within the Brentford heartlands. This is a key role within the Fundraising and Marketing team that will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of all fundraising initiatives, drive the Trust's SMEs strategy, as well as scope to identify and develop new opportunities and initiatives to help us achieve our goals.
This is a newly created role, and its main purpose will be to support the Head of Marketing and Partnerships and the Marketing Team to deliver against the fundraising strategy targets. This is year 1 of the strategy, a great role for someone who wants to develop or grow their experience within the charity sector and be part of an organisation that uses the power of sport to educate, motivate and inspire people from all walks of life.

Main Purpose of Job
The Trust is seeking a Fundraising Manager to help us achieve our unrestricted income goals, which will, in turn, enable the Trust to have an even greater impact within the local community. This is a key role within the Fundraising and Marketing team that will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of primary fundraising initiatives, as well as scope to identify and develop new opportunities and products to help us achieve our goals.
Responsibilities
Manage and execute primary fundraising initiatives.
Identify and develop new fundraising opportunities and initiatives.
Maintain and improve the ROI of fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
Support the Head of Marketing and Partnerships and the Marketing team in delivering against the fundraising strategy targets.
Produce regular management reports for the Head of Marketing and Partnerships and the Business Development Sub-group.
Organise and oversee fundraising events and campaigns.
Produce strong targeted copy and innovative approaches for campaign materials.
Manage relationships with suppliers, both internal and external, including creative support, print and design, ensuring the most cost-effective approaches for campaigns.
Build and maintain relationships with donors, Club and Trust sponsors and partners.
Monitor and report on fundraising performance and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and best practices.
Coordinate the Trust's Campaign calendar and work directly with the Marketing Manager to deliver results driven Marketing Campaigns
Collaborate with the Trust's Marketing and Communications department to execute successful campaigns and maximise Brentford FC Player Appearances to drive results.
Adhere to the sector's fundraising regulations and best practices, in line with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising
Collaborate with other team members and departments to create a cohesive approach to safeguarding.
Participate in training sessions related to safeguarding and emergency response.
Report any safeguarding concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities or designated personnel.

BFC Commercial and Marketing Departments.
Work closely with colleagues across all Trust's departments to ensure that fundraising campaigns are delivered as cost-effectively as possible, on brand and in line with the Trust's priorities/areas of need.
Attend cross-organisational meetings as required, making the case for fundraising campaigns.

Essential Criteria
Proven experience in fundraising, preferably within the sports or charity sector.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Creative and strategic thinking abilities.
Passion for community development and the mission of Brentford FC Community Sports Trust.
Experience of running direct mail, email and mobile campaigns
Experience of running lotteries or draws for fundraising
Outstanding written communication skills, including the ability to tailor communications for different audiences and media whilst maintaining consistent tone and messaging
A demonstrable track record in setting and meeting income targets
Experience using Project Management systems such as Monday, Salesforce or other systems.
Strong understanding of social media and its potential use within fundraising
Outstanding written communication skills, including the ability to tailor communications for different audiences and media whilst maintaining consistent tone and messaging
Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
Desirable:
Experience in event management.
Knowledge of the local community and its needs.
Familiarity with fundraising software and tools.
