: 08.30am-5.00pm Monday - Friday. Working outside core hours may be required with possible weekend and evening events during the year.

The position is based in the charity's head office in Epsom and office based 5 days a week.

Look Good Feel Better is a national cancer support charity delivering services in hospitals, cancer care centres and luxury spas and hotels in local communities across the UK. Services include face to face and online group sessions; video tutorials; online guides and information. Our services help enable people to face cancer with confidence, to regain their sense of normality, to make friends and most of all to look good and feel better. Since our launch in 1994, we have provided support to over 204,000 people.

About the role

The Fundraising Administrator position is a dynamic and pivotal role in the Look Good Feel Better Fundraising Team. You will be joining us at an important time of growth and ambition, and you will support with the expansion and development across several fundraising functions. This is an exciting time to join our small but mighty team as we progress into the next phase of our fundraising strategy and a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated self-starter with a determined and proactive approach.

The Fundraising Administrator will report to the Head of Fundraising and work closely with all members of the fundraising and finance teams to support our individual, events, corporate and local community fundraising. You will provide support in relation to managing contact records, donations, administrative fundraising support, supporter communications, events, acknowledgments, and database management.

Attributes:



A minimum of 2 years' experience working in an administrative capacity.

Experience of using a contact management database is essential, in addition to excellent ICT skills, particularly use of Microsoft Excel. You should have excellent attention to detail and a determination to produce and maintain a high standard of work.

Effective communication skills are crucial, including written, telephone, online, and face-to-face interactions in both one-on-one and group settings.

Excellent relationship building skills who can quickly establish rapport.

You should be able to manage a varied and challenging workload and have experience of working to deadlines. You should be self-motivated, confident, resilient, with great problem-solving skills and be able to identify opportunities to improve.

You will be comfortable working autonomously as well as being a great team player.

A clean and full driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:



Responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate contact records for fundraisers and donors on our CRM platform, Salesforce.

Work closely with the Finance team to oversee the accurate and timely recording of all incoming funds from various fundraising platforms into the organisations database, ensuring compliance with financial timelines and reconciliation processes.

Manage and record all information relating to fundraisers' activities, results, and income.

Ensuring all data is being handled correctly and within GDPR compliance guidelines.

Responsible for delivering the agreed thanking and acknowledgement process for all fundraisers and donors.

Being first point of contact for all fundraising enquiries incoming via the fundraising inbox, website and over the phone.

Working with the Senior Fundraising Manager to ensure great supporter care is delivered to all fundraisers and donors.

Packing and dispatching of fundraising packs and materials, raffle prizes and online shop orders.

Occasionally attending and supporting at various fundraising events including balls, dinners, sporting and community events.

Perform various administrative tasks as needed on an ad-hoc basis.

Oversee the planning and coordination of inhouse fundraising activities to support organizational goals and to maximise incoming funds.

Handle stock management, including inventory control, organise and distribution, while ensuring the secure and efficient operation of the lock up unit.

Liaise with third parties to facilitate efficient operations of shop distribution and lock up unit.

Deliver customer service through various channels to meet the needs and inquiries of clients.

Managing e-commerce - back end - shop uploads, stock management online

Conduct market research and benchmarking of other charitable organizations.

To create, manage and update online fundraising platforms to align with various events and campaigns.

Provide assistance to the wider team as needed to support overall operations and objectives.

Competitive Salary - 23,000 - 25,000 per annum
26 days annual leave (increasing to 28 days with length of service) + bank holidays
