About the Role
We're looking for an experienced
Apprenticeship Funding & Compliance Manager
to join our friendly and supportive team at PA Media Academy. This is a key role, ensuring that our apprenticeship provision meets the highest standards of compliance, funding regulations, and quality assurance.
You'll bring your deep understanding of ESFA rules and ILR returns to help us maintain excellence and integrity in our delivery.
This is a part-time role (two days per week), based in our central London training centre at

What You'll Do
Ensure our apprenticeship delivery is fully compliant with ESFA funding rules and regulations.
Conduct compliance checks and manage internal audits to ensure quality and accountability.
Oversee ILR returns and learner progress tracking, including managing breaks in learning and completions.
Administer technical qualifications and liaise with awarding bodies.
Lead on employer and apprentice onboarding, ensuring documentation and contracts are in place.
Monitor data integrity and resolve rule violations (e.g. DLOCKs).
Stay informed about regulatory changes and act as the key contact for ESFA communications.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including employers and auditors, to maintain high standards.
Continuously improve compliance processes and prepare for external audits.
About You
To be a strong applicant for this role you'll need to have experience in apprenticeship funding and compliance, ideally gained in a similar environment.
You'll need a solid working knowledge of apprenticeship rules, ILR processes, and audit requirements, along with the ability to work accurately and proactively.
We're looking for someone who is:
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Proficient in using MS Office and learner tracking platforms.
Analytical, collaborative, and calm under pressure.
Familiar with performance monitoring and quality assurance frameworks.
